Meet Dr. Carina Wohl

ecuador_smallDr. Carina Wohl grew up in Northampton, MA and attended Northampton public schools graduating from Northampton High School. Her Bachelors of Arts degree was earned at Boston College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. At Boston College Carina followed her passion for language and art by majoring in Hispanic Studies with a minor in ceramic fine arts, in addition to all pre-medical/dental requirements. Even with that course load she was able to study abroad in Ecuador, South America for six months her junior year, one of the highlights of her college experience! The University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia awarded Carina a merit scholarship for all four years of dental school. Throughout dental school, Carina was able to travel twice to South America on dental service trips, and participated in dental outreach to the Philadelphia community. Carina graduated in the top ten students of her dental school class, earning membership to the highest dental honor society. She worked for nearly two years in Philadelphia in city offices that served patients with less access to care. She returned to Florence, MA with her husband in the winter of 2008, and continues to happily work with Wohl Family Dentistry. It has been an incredible gift working in a partnership with her father, as well as with the terrific team of Wohl Family Dentistry. Carina is truly “home” contributing to the oral health and the general well being of the community–a commitment that her father Martin has been making for more than 30 years. In 2010, Carina and Mark welcomed their first baby Ethan into the world and then in 2012, were excited to bring Luke into the family. Spending time with her family has been such a joy for Carina, and she is finding that balancing dentistry and family has made life even richer than before. Thanks to everyone for so much support and good will
